You might be missing out on a good book that's in the pile, coz you're forcing yourself to finish the one in your hands. So I totally understand.<br /><br />I was at the bookstore last weekend, and it just dawned on me there are so many books that are being published every month! It's truly an impossible feat to read them all, so I believe it's the author's job to cerate a compelling story to entice the reader to read on, starting from the first word.
